UEFA Nations League..France and Italy draw, Belgium defeats Turkey


Italy snatched a valuable 1-1 draw against hosts France in their UEFA Nations League Group A1 match at the Parc des Princes in Paris on Friday.

France took the lead through Michael Olisser in the 55th minute, before Italy equalized through defender Alessandro Bastoni in the 68th minute.

France's Dayot Upamecano was sent off in the 85th minute, forcing his team to finish the match with ten men.

France now have 7 points at the top of the group, while Italy have 4 points in third place.

In the same group, Belgium defeated Turkey 3-0, with goals from Kevin De Bruyne in the 10th and 60th minutes, and Romelu Lukaku in the 75th minute.

Belgium moved up to second place in the group with six points, one point behind leaders France, while Turkey suffered their third consecutive defeat and remain at the bottom of the group with no points.

In Group D of League B, Sweden and Bosnia and Herzegovina played to a 1-1 draw.

Sweden took the lead through Viktor Györgyić in the 61st minute, but Bosnia and Herzegovina equalized through Alajbegović in the 80th minute.

In Group 2 of League B, Northern Ireland defeated Ukraine 3-0, with Maurice Brown scoring twice in the 9th and 61st minutes, and Isaac Pryce adding another in the 22nd minute.

Also in Group 2, Hungary edged past Georgia 1-0 thanks to a goal from Miloš Kerkács in the 35th minute.

In Group 3 of League C, Slovakia and the Faroe Islands played to a 1-1 draw.

Gunnar Vattenhamar, a Faroe Islands defender, gave Slovakia the lead with an own goal in the 38th minute, but Adrian Justinussen equalized for the home side in the 66th minute.
