Bad Bunny wins Album of the Year at the Latin Grammy Awards

Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny won Album of the Year for his hit "Debi Tirar Ma's Fotos" at the Latin Grammy Awards ceremony in Las Vegas on Thursday.

The reggaeton star took home five of the 12 awards he was nominated for, including the prestigious Album of the Year, which he will also be competing for at the Grammy Awards in February.

The 31-year-old also won Best Urban/Fusion Performance, Best Reggaeton Performance, Best Urban Album, and Best Urban Song.

Among his competitors were Argentine duo Carell and Paco Amoroso, who each won five awards.

Bundy's win marks a significant milestone in what has been an exceptional year for him. He recently concluded a series of sold-out concerts in Puerto Rico and is scheduled to begin a world tour this month.

This tour will not include the United States, given the risk of US Immigration and Customs Enforcement conducting raids during his concerts.
